Arrive in Shanghai (Saturday)
Welcome to Shanghai, the economic center of China, a comprehensive industrial base and a famous historical and cultural city. On arrival, you will be met by your friendly local tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

Shanghai
Full day sightseeing tour includes the legendary Bund, the window of Shanghai history and modern changes; the Jade Buddha Temple, a venerable and famous Buddhist temple, which was built in 1882 to keep two precious jade Buddha statues; elegant Yu Garden, UNESCO site, the Yu Garden, built 400 years ago, is a famous ancient private garden with architectures of Ming and Qing dynasties. Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Shanghai Silk Carpet Factory. Shanghai Dim Sum lunch at a local restaurant. Western Buffet Dinner is served in your hotel. [AB/L/DH]

Shanghai
Full day visit to the 2010 World Expo with round trip transfers and admission tickets. The theme of the 2010 World Expo is “Better City, Better Life”. The theme represents the wish of the whole world for better standards of living in future urban environments. There is a deep concern for the improvement of urban environments lying behind this theme. The number of city inhabitants has risen constantly since 1800, and by 2010, as estimated by the United Nations, urban dwellers will account for 55% of the world population. Shanghai/Suzhou
To the east of the Yangtze River, Suzhou is a land of water, with crisscrossed rivers and lakes, picturesque scenery and a large number of historical sites and celebrities. *Travel to Suzhou by bullet train (1st class soft-seat) if group size is less than 10 passengers. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon Grand Canal Cruise, then tour Pan Men City Gate and Master of Nets Garden. [AB/L/D]

Suzhou/Hangzhou
Morning, we visit the new Suzhou Museum, designed by I. M. Pei and the Embroidery Research Institute. After lunch we travel to Hangzhou. *Travel to Hangzhou by bullet train (1st class soft-seat) if group size is less than 10 passengers. With a time honored history, Hangzhou is one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China, and one of the country’s seven major ancient capitals. As a renowned gardenlike city and a top tourist city in China, Hangzhou lies by the waters and hills, showing natural, exquisite and picturesque scenery.Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Hangzhou
Full day sightseeing includes a boat ride on the West Lake, Hua Gang Park and visit to the Lingyin Temple and Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Buffet dinner in the hotel including free flow of soft drinks, coffee and tea. [AB/L/DH]

Hangzhou/Mt. Huang
Morning visit the Qinghefang ancient street, a Chinese Herb Medicine Museum and an ancient Garden House, Hu Xueyan Mansion. After lunch drive to Yellow Mountain, transfer to your hotel in Tunxi. Chinese dinner at hotel. [AB/L/DH]

Mt. Huang
Morning we take the cable car up to the top of the Yellow Mountain. Full day sightseeing tour on top of Yellow Mountain, where the region's "Four Ultimate Beauties" are on display-the sea of clouds, ancient green pines, fantastically shaped rock, and steaming hot springs. Mt. Huang/Shanghai
Continuing our guided sightseeing on top of the Yellow Mountain. Enjoy the Panoramic vistas, inspiration for centuries of Chinese ink paintings and poetry. Chinese lunch in hotel. Afternoon we take the cable car down and visit the Old Town of Tunxi. After dinner transfer to airport for evening flight back to Shanghai. Arrive Shanghai, transfer to your hotel. [AB/LH/D]
